Description
Mughal painters were obsessed with the individual — at a time when most of the world painted types, they painted people. This portrait carries that obsession in every detail: the gaze that holds something back, the jewellery rendered with the care of a goldsmith, the border alive with script. This is what it looked like when an entire civilisation decided that beauty was worth taking seriously. On BAC’s large-format canvas, that conviction fills a room.
Un-framed is an art installation, not a traditional frame.
The canvas is tension-mounted onto a solid Sagwan teak structure, creating a clean, floating presentation for modern walls.
